These delicious dark chocolates are perfect as gifts for the special day.  With subtle hint of cardamon and filled with carrot halwa and toasted coconut and covered with smooth chocolate. You will also need a chocolate moulds with up to 15 spaces.

Ingredients

1tsp cardamon powder

15g flaked almonds.

100g Dark Chocolate

50g Milk Chocolate

1 grated carrot

1 tbsp desiccated coconut toasted.

200g condensed milk

Method

Place grated carrot, flaked almonds, and condensed milk in a pan over a medium heat add to this cardamon powder and gently cook for 10 mins.  Once the milk has evaporated you will be left with a think consistency.  Toast the coconut and blend in with the carrot mixture, it will hold together and become a think consistency.  Leave this to cool.

Melt all the chocolate over a low heat over boiling water ensure the chocolate does not burn, becomes a smooth consistency.

Add ½ tsp into each of the moulds and place in the fridge for 30 minutes the remaining chocolate I usually cover with cling film and leave in a warm place.

Remove and add little balls of the carrot and toasted coconut mixture, cover with remaining chocolate and place back in the fridge for at least one hour to set.
